Hi I,m Joanna looking for the marriage of Ellen  Murphy b Ireland 1873 to  Thomas ? Carroll in Liverpool 1900 I dont know where or when he was born I have tried the 1901 census but with no luck ,hoping you can help .you have all helped me inthe past ,for which i am very grateful .Thank you. :) :) :) Joanna

Hi I am looking for any info on m mcleary only have initial for first nsme maybe michael /martin living in south shields 1941 born in ireland but dont have an age I am looking for a marriage or death certificate for him he was uncle to patrick dolan killed at sea in 1941 .I would be very grateful for any help you can give me ,You have given me a lot of help in the past for which I thank you for ,joanna  :) :) :)

hi I have been looking on the pilot post of igi ,if you think you have found one of the family how do you go about getting more info to make sure you have the right one? :) :) it is a great site if you are sure .I clicked on the name and all the numbers come up ,film no volume ,and so on I would be very grateful as to what to do next ,Thank you, you are all so helpful  rootschat is the best site ,and you allways try to answer any queries ,Thank you

Ireland / irish mariners

Hi I looked on the irish mariners site and found my dad on there.I think .his name was michael dolan he was b in roscommon on 14/9 / 1894 and did go to sea in 1916 to 1921 he met my mother in liverpool and they married in 1916 .the only thing is on the list it has his b as 14 /9/1874 so I am not sure if it is him .he was on the empress of britain in feb /and apr in 1919.is there any way I can get the list of seamen on board those dates ?he was an able seaman.   thanks for all your help in the past    Joan :) :) :)

Hi I'm Joanna  I wonder if you could find when my g aunt went to the u.s in 1905/7 and if possible what ship she went on .The details are
                              Agnes ( Bridget)  ? Dolan born about 1885 plus
                              Parents Thomas Dolan  Eliza Harrington
                                   of Pollalhar Brideswell Athlone Co Roscommon
                                    she went to Boston Ma
                            She married Frank Ocallahan in 1911 in Dorchester  Ma I think
    I dont know which port she sailed from or the name of the ship ,I have tried many times to find her also where would she get her passport from .I have wrote to London but didn"t get a reply also to Dublin and Cork with no success I would be very grateful for anything you can find ,I have also been trying to find her sister
                    Mary Ellen Dolan who also went to Boston around 1895/7same parents
    she married Edward  Frankliin Ellis in Medford  Boston in 1903 .her birth was down as 1875 but I think she was born before then ,I would be grateful if you could find what ship she sailed on and where she would apply for a passport if they needed one then ,Thank you for looking up the impossible for me and everyone, without you we would have nothing , :) :) :)  Joanna

Hi Celia  Joanna here I got your reply to my email today I dont understand about the mix up with the email I got from Gerry ,I dont know what went wrong ,it came to my email address ,not to worry maybe it was for someone else and the addresses got mixed up somehow ,but thanks for letting me know Celia ,Its a great site and everyone is so friendly and helpful you have helped me so much in putting together the families of my late husband ,I have enjoyed doing it for him ,I have trouble doing my family as they were all born in Ireland and most of the records were distroyed by fire ,

Hi I"m  Joanna ,I would be very grateful if you could look up the Fletcher family for me I have them on the 1851 census and they were living in Crump st Liverpool 1.  They are     John Fletcher b1809/10    blacksmith
                                       Ellen  Fletcher  wife b about same time
                                         elizabeth daughter b  1834   
                          maybe    samuel   b  1840             all  born   liverpool    also  John   Guy    b  1808/9   blacksmith  liverpool
Ann    Guy    b about same time              ------
William  son  b 1829/31                      ,,,,,,,,,,
                    living in   Everton  .I would be very grateful for any info on the families ,And I want to thank you for all your help in finding the rest of the family for me ,I couldn"t have done it without all you kind people ,Thank you

Hi I"m joanna I wonder if some kind person could look up John Wood for me
the details are John Wood b 1829/30 in Wigan I dont have his parents names .
 I have him on the 1881 census living in Ormskirk/Formby with wife Mary & family they were married about 1856/8 in that area ,.Marys maiden name was Ball b 1830/2 in Ormskirk.You have all helped me so much in the past for which I am very grateful nothing seems to be too much trouble to you to give up your time ,Thank you all so much  :) :D              Joanna
