Can't find anything about Clarissa (b Australia) or their m (presumably before 1899) & no further details on the couple

There is a poss d/bur for our Arthur in Australia - d/bur 3.8.1941 b 1871 Walburton, Sussex

Buckinghamshire Lookup Requests / RERRY PERRY marriage
« on: Saturday 02 September 23 09:48 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Bit of a dilemma

I have been trying ot find the details of a m between Pickering Phipps PERRY & Rebecca PERRY Oct 1846 St Paul, Olney, Bucks. There is an article in a newspaper about this m  (on Family Search) though I am unable to access it. Rebecca & Pickering may have been related (both PERRY). She could be the dau of poss John & Alice or James & Rebecca

If her father was mentioned on the m record this would probably decide her parents

How do I find if there is a similar Tree on Roots Chat?

Thanks for any assistance

Kent Lookup Requests / Some confusion
« on: Saturday 01 April 23 14:34 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Alfred GREEN m Jane MORRIS 27.10.1851 All Saints, Lydd, Kent - can't seem to relocate the m

Jane, was b Hastings, Sussex @1827 a/c to the 1851-1891 C
Her father was Moses Morris (she is with him in 1851) (in 1841 she is b Kent)
She d Dec qtr 1897 Lydd, Kent aged 69 - so b 1828

However a/c to records, she was b 1 Aug 1825 Hastings, bap 4 Sept 1825 Hastings - Moses & Janes's only child to be b in Sussex (the rest b Kent)

But 1825 doesn't square with the Censae or d of 1827/8

2 Janes? ie the first d or is the b/bap wrong - can't locate it on FreeReg

Their kids - Moses b 1823, Jane b 1825, John Butler b 1828, David b 1830 & Emily b 1832

Any assistance  will be helpful, thanks

Devon / Barling GREEN
« on: Thursday 23 March 23 11:13 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

A relative Barling Green b Exeter Devon @1845 who m Jane Collins or Mary Longley, Hampstead, London, 1874, disappears after the 1861 C, when he was recorded as at school in Thanet, Kent. He was a beneficiary in the Will of Elizabeth Ann Green (d 1895 Folkestone, Kent) - can't find her details

I would be grateful for any further info on him & his wife etc

His father John Green (1819-1858) m poss 1840 Sarah Lyne, I don't know when she d, or who were her parents. John d 1858 poss Greenwich. For some reason Sarah doesn't appear to be a beneficiary in her husband John Will, according to Probate - perhaps she pre-deceased him, can't locate her on any C after 1851!

Thanks

Kent / Cannot find a marriage in Kent
« on: Monday 13 March 23 17:22 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Been searching everywhere but cannot find a

Marriage for a Nicholas GREEN & Mary @1802 probably Lydd, Kent

He was bap 3.8.1786 Lydd to Nicholas & Mary (nee Finn) m 1783 Lydd. No more can be found about Nicholas jnr except he might have m a Mary ? & had 4 kids - Harriott, Edward, Gatherine & James, all bap Lydd between 1803-1807

Father & son were called Nicholas & both possibly m a Mary, - but who was Mary jnr?

None of the web sites appear to name her or the m date/place or any further info about them

My only other thought is that Nicholas & Mary Finn may have had these 4 kids in addition to their own 10, making 14 in total from 1784-1807 & that Nicholas jnr didn't marry of anything else, ie he was just another child, though he totally disappears, compared to his siblings

Any assistance would be helpful

Hertfordshire / Ann BENNET & Ann HALES marriage - the same?
« on: Monday 22 August 22 17:20 BST (UK)  »
Hi

Looking for 2 marriages, but can only find some details - not enough to be sure they are fifferent Ann's

1    A Mrs Ann Hale m a Jacob Wittewronge 9.5.1719 at St John the Baptist, Aldenham, Herts by Licence from the Arch Bishop of Canterbury (she it says was a widow, previously m to a Mr Hale of Coventry)  her father was ? his father was Jacob wittewronge

Can't find any details about Ann Hale or Ann's maiden name or their marriage or Mr Hale

2    An Ann Bennet m her 1st cousin a Jacob Wittewronge 9.8.1719 where I don't know - her father was Thomas Bennet, his father was also Jacob Wittewronge - can't find these details

Not much on Family Search to assist

2 different marriages or the same? - I think Jacob might be the same (not a common name) but what about Mrs Hales - a ruse?

Any help would he gratefully received
