Lancashire / Liverpool Maternity Hospital -1958

Hi,

Baby born in the 4th Q 1958 that only lived a few hours, I can not locate a registration for the birth or the death .
The burial took place at Anfield Cemetry  Liverpool .

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

I have ancestor awarded a MBE & OBE in the 1920's,am struggling to find any further info,have tried the National Archives Web Site ( no success ) London Gazette etc .
Lil Nugent Harris (double barrel surname) had been the Editor for "Home & Country" Women's Institute publication .
In the 1922 editions the "MBE" appears for the first time after her name,WI archives do not have any further info on the award(s).
Any suggestions ?!.

Morning,

This post is on behalf of a friend: Grandfather a Japenese Diplomat based in Liverpool UK around the late 1920's/ 1930's fathered three children with a local woman (they never married) he returns to Japan in 1935 & is never heard off again
We do have a name for the man & he has been located leaving Liverpool Port in 1935.
Not to sure how to go about this - help !.

World War One / WW1 Deserters

Hi,

Would like to know more about resources on tracing a ancestor who deserted during WW1,he went on the "run" in the North East (UK) hiding out in the woods and died of hypothermia.
Have tried the National Archives Website for WW1 and some of the local free newspaper archives online - any other suggestions ?

Technical Help / Ancestry Problems ?

Hi,

Has anyone noticed any problems with Ancestry today ?.
I can log into the site,load up tree,but when I want to search the records and click into a record the page says ERROR URL INVALID SEARCH and when I look at the toolbar on that error page it shows LINKCLK.COM 

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Slight problem with my Kodak esp 3.2 wireless printer,the last few weeks when I print out documents, some of the words "look " as if they been rubbed out or are faint looking, have replaced the ink catridges and its no better.
Any advice ?.

Harriet Jackson,died 28th January 1875,aged 34yrs,wife of Charles Jackson(Seaman).

Harriet Jackson,died 5th June 1875,aged 38yrs,widow of John Jackson(Laborer).

Both certs registered West Derby, Liverpool.
