Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Photo of a Pub with unreadable signs, 1800s

I have an old photo of a pub, possibly in the Durham area of England, that I am unable to read the signs of. If anyone is able to sharpen the image to make the signs more readable, I'd really appreciate it.

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Sign on Old Pub from Photograph

This is part of an old faded photograph I scanned several years ago, but have never been able to identify what it says.

The bits I can read are:

Joseph???
The Sh???
???
Poste???

Another sign on the building says:
"All Ales Sold Here Are Drawn From The Wood. No Pumps Used"

I am guessing this might be in County Durham, England, but not really sure.

If anyone can help identify what the sign says, I'd be very happy.
