I am trying to tidy up loose ends on my Family Tree, and one name is giving me a few headaches. It is Ethel Mary Twigg born 1904 daughter of Arthur William Twigg and Emma nee Piggott. I hhave found her birth registration and also her on the 1911 Census but after that nothing. I have asked some of the other descendants of Arthur and Emma about her, and have been told she married a Sidney Hayes, no idea where or when or what happened to her. I cannot find any record of the marriage or where she may have been. Can anyone help Arthur was a Police Sergeant in Shrewsbury in Shropshire. Do hope there is some wonderful person who may be able to help me just a little bit.  Many thanks Bev Price [Pialba}

I had sent for the Marriage of Florence May Hall and John Vasey Hodgson, which showed it was the Florence May Hall I was looking for, Now to try and find something on John Vasey Hodgson. It showed his father as being a George Hodgson, so looked on the Census, and found a George Hodgson born 1875/76 born Blaydon, Northumberland. however have found a couple of them born that time period, so to find the right one. Trouble is, it is only the 1901 census that shows him being born at Blaydon, the 1911 only has his place of birth as being "unknown" He was in Durham. He married Jane Isabella Johnson. Would like to be able to trace him back a bit further, and hope there is someone who may be able to help.

Am trying to find information on William Ernest or Ernest Will Langton, who may have been born in South Africa. I have very little information on him, other than he was in England around 1904 and was the father of Lilian Dorothy Langton who later took the name of  Parsons, when her mother married Frederick Parsons. her mother was Louisa or Louie Goulden. When Lilian was born they lived at Balham, and he was listed as a Builders Foreman. I have been told he wanted Louisa to return to S.A. with him and bring Lilian, but she decided to stay in England. He paid a substantial maintenance for Lilian and when he died just after the Second World War, he left Lilian quite well off. I think he may have been married, and perhaps born about 1880. I know the information is scant, but if anyone could help point me in the direction of how to find anything about him or his will, would be very pleased. Pialba [Bev}

I have been trying, without success, to find something on Lily dorothy Parsons, who married My uncle Frederick Charles Prescott Twigg in 1926. According to the marriage certificate Lily Dorothy as 21 at the time of marriage and her father was Frederick parsons Retired Naval Officer. Two of the witnesses at the marriage were F. Parsons and L.Parsons, the others being my grandparents, E.C. and A.M. Twigg.
I have sent for 2 birth certificates but neither are her, one was for a Lily Dorothy but she was born 1907, and the other was Daffodil  Dorothy born 1904 both were wrong. I have her death certificte with the information from her son, she was born 18 June 1904 in London, but there is no sign of a Lily dorothy being born in London or Middlesex in 1904. Can anyone help me please. costing too much money to keep sending for certificates.

Am trying to find some information on a Louisa Mayes/Mays born about 1821 in Chelsea. In 1847 she married a James Richard Beard, and has her father as Joseph Mayes/Mays his profession is listed as a veterinary surgeon. One of the witnesses was a Mary Ann Mayes/Mays. I have looked at census, births, marriages and deaths with no luck in finding [a] Louisa's birth/baptism, Joseph's marriage, death,[c] Mary Ann.
Would be so grateful if someone could help me at least get a lead.
My interest stems from the connection of Louisa to a Mary Ann Barnes nee Twigg, as in a family bible owned by another person also seeking info, has Mary Ann Barnes as Louisa's mother.
