Hope I am not loosing my marbles ,but I cannot find a physical Address on the MOD site other than Whitehall.
I thought requests for service records went else where !

Woud some one of Russian birth who was only resident in Britain since 1900 be called up to the British Army in WW 1.
According to an oral statement (transcripted) made by a relative my Grandfather served during this time ? ???

Help please,
On FindMyPast I found a reference that could be related to my Uncle but how and where do I find further information on this.
I have tried searching on the NAS but I never manage to come up with much while on there ,so anybody any ideas please.

Just searching the free access to the 1911English Census and came up with this beside the place of birth on a person of interest but it's a new description to me.
Does anybody have an explanation please.

I know that there is a Kovno so is it just a error on transcription.

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) Lookup Requests / Death Certificate HULL

Help please.
I have had NO luck trawling through the various sites trying to locate Death cert for my Great Grand Mother in HULL.
Latest sighting was 1901 Census in Kingston upon Hull (Myton) district with family.
Problem is variants of given name on some documents.
I  have her name as A/Annie/Rachel Jacob/s
Husbands name Abraham Jacob/s.
