The Common Room / Incorrect connections on Tribal pages
« on: Friday 20 May 22 19:35 BST (UK)  »
I went in to my tree on Tribal pages today to find green leaves things attached to some of my people and then long lists of people who have the same names but absolutely no connectionto mine .
There have even been incorrect names added to my tree.
It is private.
Only one other person has access and he is dead.
I cannot seem to remove these leaves or lists or wrong connections.

Please tell me what to do. How can I get rid of them.
Have written to the administrator but what ifI get no reply from him her it or them.

Armed Forces / HMS Invincible.Battle of Jutland. Alfred Henry Fearn.
« on: Friday 24 January 20 17:51 GMT (UK)  »
I have been looking for Alfred Henry Fearn born 1890  for many years. His birthplace  is given as  unknown on some censuses and Tunbridge Wells on others.

In 1911 , aged 21 he was  still living with his adoptive mother ,Sarah Howlett ,in Isleworth Middlesex .
He had lived with her from infancy and was still with her in 1911.

There is an Alfred Henry Fearn who was on the Invincible at the Battle of Jutland and who died in May 1916 and  is on Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
How can I find out if this is my Alfred Henry Fearn?

My father , who was  born in 1906 , and who lived near his grandmother well remembered her   and   his  Aunt and Uncle   never spoke  to me of Alfred.
Who was Alfred Henry Fearn and where did he go?
Can anyone help please?

Glamorganshire / Finding who lived in a house in Glamorganshire in 1939
« on: Sunday 24 November 19 09:55 GMT (UK)  »
Hallo,
Please does anyone know how I could find who lived in a house called Clydach Court , ( Grovers) Pontypridd ,n 1939.
I believe the house was then owned by W. Matthias but he did not occupy it. And may have sold it by 1939
Is there a way of find a house on the 1939 census rather than by name of person ?

I have searched for many years for the history of this house and just last week found the link I wanted....Henry Llewellyn Grover and family. But he died in 1898 and the house was sold to W Matthias.
When I was there in 1940  the caretaker was a  Mr Theophilis and wife..
I just want to know how to put a search in . Many thanks..

Census Lookup and Resource Requests / Gamm/ Gumm
« on: Friday 11 October 19 17:58 BST (UK)  »
Hallo,
There is an Edward Gamm on the Hagley Worcs census for 1841. He is 30, a male servant of an innkeeeper, John  Mayfield.
He was not born in Worcs.
I think this may be my elusive Edward Gumm  christened 1810 in Kingston Surrey. Parents Thomas Gumm and Johannah.
Would someone be able to see if he is on the 1851 census anywhere please?
The surnames Gamm / Gamma/ Gamm and Gumm or Gomm have all been used for this family  so I have never been able to find them all.
Edward,s brother Henry was mistranscibed Gammon!
Grateful thanks to you in advance.
