Monmouthshire / Gairvour Cottages

Hi just wondered if anyone could help. My hubby`s family were from Shire Newton or more to the point Langwn Icha  I know where this is however having problems with finding the address. On 1871 census it identifies information as
Jennet Williams  living at Gairvour cottages Parents Thomas and Somesa (louisa)
Any help would be appreciated

Just thought I would share this recently acquired photo of my husbands great grandmother with one of his grandad`s siblings and the sister of John Reilly grandad`s father(Mary Anne Reilly).I thought it was such a lovely photo I thought I would share, Mary Anne is a ancestor of Frank Stapleton the footballer so if any of you know him please feel free to let him know

Just wondering if anyone could give me a date on this photo and also a guestimate of the age difference  between the two children on the back it says Julians father which would give the youngest child the date of birth as 1906 and the older child then 1903,i`m not convinced though.
Please do not restore as this has previously been done by your kind selves and I must say I have downloaded all the restorations which are of an excellent standard. I was extremely pleased with them at the time and I still am .

2 Rose Cottages Woodcroft Tidenham Gloucestershire,wondered if they are still standing.Apparently they were possibly close to a railway line

Armed Forces / discharge from army where next

sorry if this is on the wrong board,was wondering how to I find out where a soldier landed when returning from India and where do I find records for reason for discharge.
Also how do I find the birth of someone born to a soldier serving in Roorkee India 1906-1916
