Hi,
Robert Wilson (son of Joseph Wilson and Margaret Friel) married Helen Farren in Iskaheen, Co. Donegal, Ireland in 1889.  I cannot find them in the Irish census of 1901/1911.  I found their son Joseph in the 1901 census in 'Ture' Donegal, staying with his uncle Patrick Farren.  It states Joseph Wilson was aged 10 years and born in Glasgow.

Would like to connect with anyone who is related to this family.

Hi,

My great grandfather Anthony Bradley married a widow in Greenock, Scotland in 1876.  Her name was Margaret Black (formerly married to Moris Downie.)  Richard and Margaret had one daughter called Anne born circa 1871.  Margaret went on to have four children with Anthony.  Margaret's parents were Richard Black and Anne McGonigle from Grange, Burt.  Would like to connect with any Black family from this area who would have connections.

Thank you.

Durham / Edward Bradley
« on: Monday 26 June 17 12:19 BST (UK)  »
Edward Bradley born c1855 in Donegal, Ireland.  Found his marriage to Ellen Law in Glasgow on 13th August, 1874 in St. Mungo's R.C. Church.  Both aged 23 years.  Apparently Ellen was a widow.

On checking the 1881 Census I find Edward (boarder) aged 30 in Cross Street, Paisley.  A widower and below is a James Bradley aged 7 years, boarder, born Glasgow.  I got the birth of James in Glasgow but is illegitimate and his birth mother is Catherine Bradley of Castle Street, Glasgow.

No sign of Ellen on death records between 1873 and 1881 Census and have cross referenced the later Census.

Would appreciate any input please.  :)

Wicklow / John Margey Inquest
« on: Sunday 25 June 17 20:22 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for a newspaper clipping of the Inquest (due to drowning) of John Margey.  He was a Commercial traveller, aged 47 and from Donegal.  The inquest was held in East Wicklow on 13th August, 1957.  I have tried looking on FindMyPast but the Wicklow papers don't go up to 1957.

Thank you.
