hi i am trying to find my grandfather with little success, he has a very common surname (PARKER). the only thing i know for sure is that he married AGNES GAWTHORPE in 1916 in Leeds. his father is named as James on the marriage cert and occupation is given as STRIKE. my grandfathers name is William and his birthdate is believed to have been circa 1897. i have found all of William and Agnes children but because the name William Parker is so common in yorkshire i am having trouble locating the right one there is no one i can ask and i dint just want to send off for birth certs until i am almost certain of having the right one. any ideas what else i can do

can someone tell me is it possible to lok up bmds for scotish rellies anywhere else or only on scotlands people.
i have some credits left for findmypast but i amnot sure if they cover scotland. iam looking for my grandads family the only info i have is daniel f callaghan born june 1909 fathers name john
siblings marget,edward,john,mary isabella. i dont have any dates or info but my mum seems to think they came from dundee.
my grandad daniel was in the royal scots 1st battalion he married in leeds yorkshire in 1937 and died in leeds in 1978

hello everyone
i wondered if anyone would be good enough to look up the following people in the 1901 census
william parker and agnes gawthorpe possibly hunslet are leeds
agnes was born in 1898 not sure of william but guess it would have been about the same.
walter cliffe and mary elizabeth dickinson again hunslet or leeds south both born around 1890
