Hi, Does anyone know if the Eastern Necropolis (also known as Eastern Cemetery) is catalogued anywhere online?
Many thanks!
Kirsty
I JUST FOUND THIS ON DUNDEE CITY COUCIL WEBSITE...
Burial and Cemetery Records - Leisure and Communities Department
Although the indexed records of the closed Howff burial ground and the New Howff / Constitution Road burial ground are in the City Archives, the Leisure and Communities Department of the City holds extensive 19th century records of the three principal burial grounds - Balgay/Western Necropolis, Western Cemetery, and Eastern Necropolis - which are still in use today. Staff can help you search these records.
