Hi to you lovely restorers,
I've managed to scan this photo at 300 thingies so although it's small (actual size) I hope it's enough to have an even better result (Irene?).

My dress is red and white, brother's cardigan is light blue, white dress, pastel background (Mum can't remember what colour!), we're both fair with golden blonde hair, blue eyes.

Thank you very much in advance..........

kind regards,
Kim

Quite frankly everyone, I have no idea what I'm doing.............why is the photo now an attachment???

Would anyone be able to colour this 50yr old photo of my brother and myself?  I know the quality isn't brilliant, I'm not bothered about that unless it can be sharpened up without de-noising it too much and thereby making us look too plastic!!  What I would really love is for one of you to colour my sailor dress red and white and give my bro a light blue cardie and white 'dress' (all the rage 50yrs ago for baby boys my mum tells me), the background was obviously also a pastel colour but mum can't remember what!!!!
My hair is a sort of golden brown colour, as is my brothers, both blue eyes and fair colouring!
I've had a few photos 'done' by your goodselves and I know what wonderful work you do!!!!!

I'll say thank you in advance, I can't wait to see what we'll look like...............!!!

Regards, Kim

.............sorry for the multiple images..............I'm rubbish at this!!!  I keep trying to resize, first it's too big, then too small...................Urghhhhhh!!!!

This photo is only 15 yrs old but has spent most of that time bathed in sunshine!!!!  Can anyone bring it back to it's original glory!!
Many thanks...................
Kim

Actually, now that it's on screen, it looks blurred...........?  The original is still quite clear?

This young man, taken in 1957 is my long dead elder brother.  He was a red head with freckles and hazel/brown eyes.  It would be lovely to have him brought back to life with a little colour?
Thanks to anybody taking this on..............

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Me!!! - COMPLETED.....AGAIN!!!!
« on: Tuesday 29 March 11 14:29 BST (UK)  »
Although this photo has been coloured beautifully, on advice from my Mum yesterday, the cardy combo is actually a lightish blue!!!!!  (Courtesy of Granny!).  Can anyone (Irene/Jim/Terry????) just change the red/pink to blue for me?  I'll be eternally grateful!  You'd be making an old bird really really happy!!!!!!

Thank you,
Kim

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Dad and his sisters - COMPLETED
« on: Sunday 27 March 11 21:21 BST (UK)  »
Can any kind soul out there tidy this old photo up for me?  It's dated around 1933, my dad and 3 of his 6 sisters!  As you can see they weren't very well off!  If anyone wants to play around with colour, dad had very black hair and blue eyes as a young man!!
Many many thanks,
Kim

As you were so overwhelmingly kind yesterday..................I was wondering if this photo could have a little colour added?  It's a photo of a photo so of course I understand if the pixel thingies are all wrong!!!

Mum had honey blonde hair, green eyes, the dress was a very muted sage green colour and the beads were shades of lilac/grey sort of colour.
Dad was dark haired, blue eyed and was wearing a dark suit.  No idea about tie and jumper!!!
I don't know why I'm referring to them in the past tense, they are both still very much here, in their late 80s!!  The photo was a Sergeant's Mess Christmas Party in 1961 in Catterick!
Thanks to all you lovely people in advance,
kind regards,
Kim

I don't know if it is at all possible to colour this photo, it's one that has been emailed to me.  It's my mum, her sister and their beloved doggie!!!!  I did print this photo for my mum and she was thrilled but I know she's be beyond happy if it could be coloured for her.  The coats the girls are wearing were apparently a sort of rusty brown colour, white socks and black patent shoes.  The dog is a black/tan colour.  Both the girls had light brown hair and greeny eyes.
I know the pictures posted on here for restoration have to be a certain size etc etc so I do apologise if this one doesn't fit the criteria.
I'll wait to see if anybody can take the challenge on.............................
Many many thanks in advance.
Kim
