Mayo / Mary Lavelle, Ballina

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help with information about a lady called Mary Lavelle who was born in Ballina in 1899. Her middle name may have been Teresa, but not 100 percent sure on that!

Can't seem to find anything relating to her, or her family, in the Irish Records I have searched. I think she came to England at some point and married a man called William Bramham in 1929 in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

ANY help would be so very much appreciated!

Looking for any information about William Bramham who was born 1899 in Leeds. As far as I can see, he married a woman called Mary Lavelle (also born 1899 in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland) in 1929 in Leeds.

Having trouble finding out about his parents, whether he had any brothers or sisters etc. as I seem to keep hitting dead ends - his father may have been called Samuel but not 100 percent sure of that!

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Wondered if anyone could help me with trying to find out more information about my Gt Grandfather, John Hudson, who was born in  Bassenthwaite, Cumberland sometime between 1860 - 1870.

I know that he married Mary Graves - born Dalton-In-Furness in 1860 - in Ulverston in the 4th quarter of 1885. They had 6 children - William (1887); Robert (1888); Florence (1891); Mabel (1896); Hilda (1898) and Ida (1900).

Unfortunately I can't seem to find anything about his parents or whether he had any siblings!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I seem to be going round in circles!!  ::)

I'm having a major problem finding out anything about a particular family member as I have absolutely no information to go on!

All I have is a married name, the last known living address and a possible date of death and I haven't a clue how I can find out anything else when I don't know her maiden name, her parents' names, husband's name, birth or marriage dates etc....  ???

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated as I'm stumped, getting nowhere and slowly losing the will to live!!!!  :P

Can anyone help with suggestions of how I can find birth records for Dublin circa.1836?  I've tried all sorts of online look-ups and cannot find anything at all :(

I've been told that a lot of Dublin records were destroyed by fire at some point... is this true?  If so, how on earth would you go about finding a record for someone?

I'm completely stumped and out of ideas so any info. anyone might have would be very greatly appreciated!

I'm in need of help with the following cos I seem to be getting nowhere fast at the moment!!  ::)

I'm looking for information on a Thomas M J POOLE who was born in 1921 in Hackney - as far as I can find he had an older brother Henry G and two older sisters Dorothy M and Florence L. 

He married a lady with the first name of Gladys but I have no idea of her surname and I can't find the marriage record... yet!  :P.   I have no info on his parents apart from his mother's Maiden name was Wilson but I have no first name!!

I don't seem to be getting very far at all and wondered if anyone else could shed any light?

I'm needing help with info. regarding the following :

Ewart John Chatfield born 1894 in Brighton, Sussex

He married Winifred Kenward in 2nd Qtr of 1924 registered in Lewes, Sussex

Winifred died in 1930 and he subsequently married her sister :o Mabel Kenward in 1st Qtr of 1932 registered in Lewes, Sussex

I have tried to find further details but seem to be hitting a dead end!  I don't have any record of his death eg. where he died, the year he died, his final resting place etc. and wondered if anyone could do better than me at tracing him post 1932?!  :-[

Anything would be hugely appreciated.

I'm in need of any info. that may help solve a query I have :

In 1908 Magdeline Helen Pearce from Hampshire married Henry (Harry) Matthew Stanford in Cuckfield, West Sussex. 

I have been informed by a Stanford family member that the marriage record is the correct people but that her birth name was actually Helen Magdalen Richardson and she was born around the Portsmouth area in 1888 - I have since looked that name up and have found a birth record for a Helen Magdalen RICHARDSON born Sept 1888 in Portsea, Hampshire; to date I cannot find any birth record in that area for a Magdeline Helen Pearce or Helen Magdeline Pearce! 

I'm not sure if maybe she was adopted and took on the name of Pearce or whether she was previously married and Pearce was her first husband's name (though I cannot find any record of a marriage between a Pearce and a Richardson in Hampshire!) and am getting a little confused as to the difference in names!!  :P 

Both of them are buried in the local cemetery and she is noted on the headstone as being Helen Magdalen (known as Maggie).

I was wondering if anyone else could throw some light on the subject as I'm losing the will to live trying to find out  ???  ::)

ANY clues would be very, very much appreciated!!  ;D

I am trying to find any record of a possible marriage for a George Beard, born 1867 in Chailey, East Sussex.  Unfortunately I have no idea if he even got married as he was still single at the age of 44 and I don't have any female names that have been suggested!!

I do have the following info from the 1881 census but that's about it I'm afraid  :( :
