Stirlingshire / John Stewart Merchant Vintner and Farmer in Village of Kippen

Hello

All, I am looking for information about a John Stewart who was a Merchant Vintner and Farmer in the Village of Kippen, say, middle of the 1700's onwards, like to find his family, he is supposed to have 4 sons, one a surgeon in Glasgow. a son Archibald, was a wright in Stirling with a number of sons,

John's parents were Hugh STEWART and Janet BUCHANAN , Hugh was in Ballacaish and Carse of Cambus in Kilmadock parish
Hugh had a second Marriage to Janet DUNCANSON circa 1754

G'day all, I am looking for any scraps of information at all regarding a William Buchanan, who died sometime in the 1760's at Douchlage farm <in Drymen parish I think>I would like to find William's Ancestry and any descendants. Has anyone got an old map of drymen showing this Duchlage farm?
If so may I have a Copy please

Folks, anyone have a William Dow, born 5th November 1859, William married Catherine Stewart in 1879

I have no Parents or siblings for him; at one time I had him connected to Archibald Dow and Jean/Jane SANDS
However while his birthdate fits I can find no secondary evidence of him belonging to this family
Can anyone help

Hi Listers, Doun here; as a favour for a friend, I am looking for information on LAUDER in Kilmadock; apparently there were three brothers and families there, all had buisnesses, I cant give you any dates

as she has none, but apparently they ran three buisnessesas far as I can tell these Lauder's are seperat to my Lauder's which you can find at buchananstewart.tribalpages.com
