Trying to piece together a complicated Family! My Grt Grt Grt Granma, Harriet Goldsmith  seems to have been married twice before she married grt3 grandad. George.They are on 1841 census, there is a Jon Gerrard staying with them. I think he was her son, Could someone have a look and see if it says anything. They lived at Lane End, Market st, Stoke then.George is down as an Inn kepper. Does it say the Inn name? Thanks in anticipation.

I have just discovered my grt grt grandad, was married before he married my grt grt grandma, and had a child.  His wife died shortly after. I know the child was staying at his grandparents on 1871 census, but cant find him after that. I dont think he died, as I have found a death in 1924, that I am almost sure is him. Could some one please look for him for me from 1881 to 1901. His name was George Samuel Goldsmith, born in Liverpool ( west derby) in 1865. His grandparents lived in Stafford, he is not with them, his father remarried in 1869, and had another family, he never seems to be with them. I am curious as to where he went. His mothers maiden name was Smith, he may have been with her family. Many Thanks 

Does this name mean anything to anyone ( apart from Me!) Its my Grt x3 grandad, just found out he was born in Norfolk, round about 1816.

I am looking for Robert Goldsmith ( middle initial is C, but the name seems to change!) He was born in Staffs,  in 1844,were I have him on 1851, living at home, but he wasnt there in 61 or 71. He married Hannah in 1869, in Liverpool. I have found him again in 1881, living in St Helens.  Any help appreciated.

My grt grt grt grandad was ( according to 1861 census onwards) born in Isle of Mann, approx 1829 name Robert Gale, not much to go on as I said, any one got 1841 census that might show him as I am begining to give up hope.
