Norfolk Lookup Requests / Wills - Norfolk
« on: Tuesday 21 April 20 19:42 BST (UK)  »
Where would I find wills for Norfolk?  I'm looking for the will of James Jempson Allison who died in 1780.  I think his will could be dated 4 May 1772.  I looked on the national archives but couldn't find it.  I would also like to find the will of his father James Allison who died in about 1764 also in Norfolk.
Thanks

Armed Forces / Edwin KELLY - Coast Guard
« on: Wednesday 14 June 17 13:24 BST (UK)  »
I'm not sure I'm putting this in the correct place.

I'm looking for a record of service for Edwin Morton KELLY born about 1857 in England (I think) who served in the Coast Guard.  He was stationed at Tarbert Island, County Kerry, Ireland in 1901 - I have the family in the census.

His wife was Lawrenza Grace Hooker born in Cornwall.

Thanks

Inverness / MCBEAN Catherine
« on: Thursday 09 July 15 13:49 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find a birth, marriage or death for Catherine McBEAN who was the wife of Duncan CLARK (born about 1777 Dunlichity died 23 May 1855).  She appears to have been alive when he died and is listed as "Catharine Clark maiden name MacBean".  I have them in the 1841 and 1851 censuses  - 1851 living at "Culduthell Muir" and she is 60 born Dunlichity.  I have searched Scotlandspeople and found nothing.   :'(
