Perthshire / Abernethy - Pearsons
« on: Thursday 09 August 12 20:44 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for any information on the Pearsons in the Abernethy area from pre1772 to 1900's.

I have documents from Scotlands people for a line (Many John and Williams) there.

THe farthest one i know is William born to John baptized 1796, also a brother David baptized 1809.
I may have his father John born to William in 1772 but am unsure right now.

Just seeing if anyone has anything?

Thanks,
Beth

Kirkcudbrightshire / Watson, Agnes Mabel 1850's
« on: Friday 15 June 12 03:25 BST (UK)  »
Looking for information on Agnes Mabel Watson born to Mary Watson between 1851-1855.
I have her marriage record where she marries William Pearson and lists Mary Watson and Corral Mccormack as her parents (they were not married) and they only list Mary Watson on her death record.

Everything says she was born in Kircudbright, Kirkcudbrightshire but I have had no luck.

Any information on William Pearson before they were married in 1878 would be great also :)

Thanks in advance!

Kirkcudbrightshire / Hume family 1800's?? **Completed**
« on: Tuesday 31 March 09 02:55 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for information about the Hume family from scotland.
I know of Andrew Hume 1st marriage to Grace Law and second marriange to Alice Mary. He was born in Kurkcudbright and later moved to upstate NY.
His parents were John & Ellen Hume.

Our family ties in with Helen (Nellie) Hume born 1883 who married Thomas Pearson in 1909. She was raised by her grandmother Murray (?) and went to work at the Glenross house as a maid when she was 12.
Helen was first cousin to John Law Hume (Violinest on Titanic). I'm not sure which side it was on though. John L. Hume was Andrews son.

My mom and I are visiting Scotland in August and I'd love to know more history of our family when we get there!
Thanks for any help.
