Australia / Charles Overend Garbutt

I would love to hear from anyone related to or interested in Charles Overend Garbutt 1850-1905, after whom the suburb of Garbutt is named.
I have been contacted by two of his great grand daughters and it would be nice to get a picture of todays family.

Happy share what I have on the Garbutt family going back to 1721 in yorkshire.

Still on the hunt for Cecil Lang Trevor born 5th April 1893-his birth is not registered in NSW or VIc but his mothers brother lived in SA for a while so may be he was registered there. SA does not seem to have the same on line services as NSW and VIC. Can someone suggest where I might start looking.

Ceil Lang Trevor born to Gertrude Elizabeth Carrick Trevor can find no marriage deatils either. Father variously listed as John, Geoffery, Edward or Richard.

I have Mary Garbutt b1815 Durham and Jane Garbutt b1817 Northumberland to James Garbutt d.1838 Darlington Durham and Rachel Hutchinson.

Free BDM gives me three possible husbands for Jane; William Johnson, Fredrick Kirby or James Oliver for June quarter 1839 Darlington

freeBDM gives me five possible husbands for Mary;John Burke, John Hall, John Humpherys, William Kirkley ot Thomas Nellis for the sept quarter 1841 Darlington.

Any hints on how to elimate a husband or two?
Family search not much help, census not much better.

I have Jane Keith born 1835 Glasgow who wed Andrew Brown in 1863 in Australia, mother to Samuel, Jane, William and Jessie

I have Jane keith child of Peter keith and Ann Newbigging christened 2nd Nov 1836.

Trying to prove they are the same person.

I have Andrew Brown born 1790-1801 Maybole married to Janet Hunter Jamieson child of Quintin Jamieson and Katherine Bone.

I have Andrew Brown born 7th Nov 1795 Maybole to Andrew Brown b1745 and Jean/Jane Love b.1756 and grandson to Gilbert Brown father to Agnes Brown mother to Robert Burns.

I am trying to prove these two Andrews are actually one person. I cannot find any records that take either Andrew to the next generation.

Can any one recomned a transcription service for BDM in Queensland.
I have 3 possible death certiicate numbers for Jane Brown nee Keith/Keetle. The last two I purschased cost $26.00 each and took 9 weeks to recieve.

Hi guys, you have been so great before, I will try again. I have just recieved a birth and mariage certificate today.

Jane Brown born 10th August 1866 south brisbane 1866/B5855
born to Jane Kieth/Keetle b.1835 Glasgow
and Andrew Brown b.1832 Ayrshire married 28th Aug 1863 1863/B721
siblings Samuel 1864, William 1869 and jessie 1870.

Andrew was married to elizabeth Readmond and had Andrew 1855 and Andrew 1860 both born maybolye Ayr

What I do not know is when they died so I can get a death cerificate and find thier parents names.

Hi it is me again, I have just discovered that Alexander and Sarah Dale are buried in Clare cemertry, I always assumes it was somewhere in Ireland. Before I part with my hard earned cash, iand order a certificate is there any where I can check that they really are buried in Clare, SA Ausltralia.
Alexander Dale b.1820 d. 1894 father John , mother unknown.
Sarah Dale nee Crossett b.1836 father Samuel Crosset, mother Eliza Mcillwaine.
