Ireland / Hesson family

I'm trying  to locate where in Ireland my ancestors came from. James Hesson, born ~1798 married to Elizabeth Crossen (Crewson) born ~1812. Their first three children were born in Ireland; June (Jane) born ~1831, Samuel born ~1833 and Mary Ann born ~1837.

They left Ireland for Canada sometime between 1841 & 1843.

The Canadian census lists them as Presbyterians. I found a James Hesson on the 1796 flax growers list but it's just a name, no other info.

Canada Lookup Request / Hesson/McMillan marriage in Osnabruck

Trying to locate any marriage info on my gg-grandmother/father. Mary Ann Hesson, born ~1837 in Ireland, daughter of James & Elizabeth Hesson, married Hugh McMillan, born ~1820 in Scotland, all of Osnabruck, Ontario. Family lore has date of 1857 but this isn't confirmed by any documentation. She was Presbyterian and he was Methodist. Her family immigrated around 1842.

I've found various spellings of their names in some census such as Hessin, McMullen, McMillen.

Trying to find the mother of Elizabeth Nicholson, born 1811 in Balranald. Father is Donald Nicholson of Lochinver. Elizabeth married Murdoch MacDonald ( Murdo the cooper) in 1830 and lived in Kyles Paible. She died in 1898 on Heisker.

I'm trying to ID my MacDonald ancestor but I have no idea when photo was taken. I've tried googling and census with photographer's name but no luck.
Any help much appreciated.
