Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Patent Permanent Chromtype Photograph

Can anyone date this photo for me. Embossed on the bottom is Patent Permanent Chromtype Photograph. I thought it was my gt grandfather Jacob Jenkin but he died in 1912 aged only 53. The photo is black and white and has nothing on the reverse. He obviously meant a lot tp my family as it shows signs of being in a frame.

I am looking to verify the parents of Thomas Mepham born 1791 in Battle, Sussex (according to the 1861 census). Several people on Ancestry have his parents as Thomas Mepham and Mary Quaife but I have not been able to verify this. I don't want to go down the wrong path.

Could anyone look up this birth for me please.

I have found the information I was seeking on William Offord with the help of Rootschat so don't need a look up after all. I wasn't sure how to delete the request so just modified it.

Family History Beginners Board / William Offord 1815

I have found a William Offord on the LDS website whch gives place of birth as Suffolk County Bts, Suffolk in 1815. Does anyone know what that means? I am looking for William Offord b1815 in Lavenham, Suffolk.
