Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / Thomas Kelly and Sarah Wilkinson marriage
« on: Tuesday 15 February 05 16:28 GMT (UK)  »
Can anyone help me with the above, both born about 1831 Bradford, first child born about 1857 (Jane).

I have tried the Bradford 1851 Census (CD Rom) to see if I can find either of them (Sarah Wilkinson), but it's very hard as there is lots of Kellys (born Ireland) & the search facility is not very good so its scrolling through the thousands of names.

I'm hoping that with the marriage it will give me both their ages and address and so maybe I can then trace again on the 1851 Census.  PLEASE HELP.

I even tried ancestry.com

Thank You

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Bradford Parish Records on Fiche?
« on: Saturday 05 February 05 11:13 GMT (UK)  »
Does anyone know if you can obtain (buy) microfiche of Bradford Parish records anywhere?
I live in Cambridge and don't get much time to travel to Bradford to look at records.

Want to track Kelly's through Bradfords past.
earliest I have is a Thomas Kelly born abt 1831 in Bradford, his son William born abt 1866 Bradford (son of Thomas and Sarah Kelly nee Wilkinson from Leeds).

Plus does Bradford have online B,D & Marriages surname search?  Cambridge have this system which is excellant.

Thank you so much

Michael

Cambridgeshire Lookup Requests / Death or Burial of a Charles Cole Asplen
« on: Friday 28 January 05 19:30 GMT (UK)  »
Can anyone help, I'm trying to find out the death / whereabouts of my Great Grandfather's death.
The Camdex online record has a massive section missing, this seems to be the case for all surnames.

Anyway Charles Cole Asplen was born 1864, married 1887 to a Lydia Lousia Stonebridge (Lily or Lissie).  I know that Lily Asplen was buried 1959 at Ascension of St Giles and St Lukes of Huntingdon Road, Cambridge, although there is no record in the monumental records for this Parish.  Thank you for any help.

PS. If there is any Asplen's out there, reply anyway.

require any info. on the above names. They had a son called Watson born 1842.  I can't find anything on ancestry.com.
