I am trying to find a picture I posted for colouring a long time ago taken in Venice 1960 but owing to my old age and computer illiteracy I am unable to find it. Can someone help me please?     Uplands

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / wedding pic.
« on: Wednesday 31 May 17 13:00 BST (UK)  »
Hi folks it's me again.
On the 21st April this year it was our 55th wedding anniversary.
on the day I took my wife to the church where we were married and my son took a photograph of the pair of us. I joined this picture to the one on our wedding day which unfortunately was in B/W.
Would it be possible to colour this for me please. My wife is now in a home with dementia and you would be doing it for her.
My suit was grey, my wife's pale blue with a yellow hat.
Thanking you in anticipation.

Bob.

Many moons ago I called upon you good people to colour in a black and white photograph of my old pub in Dawley. The response was very good and much appreciated.
I have since found an old postcard showing another view taken during the 1902 Coronation of King Edward V11. Could you please try your magic on this?

Is it possible to colour this photograph of the trolley buses with the Joules adverts with the colours supplied by the Penn Fields trolleybus?

Shropshire / The Ranchhouse. Regent cinema, Wrockwardine Wood.

Does anybody have a picture of the above cinema?
The place is now a Kingdom Hall but prior to the Jehova Winesses puchasing the building it was a Swimming baths and prior to that was a cinema owned by my wifes uncle Alan Stewart. Alan converted the cinema into a swimming baths in the 1950's.
He was also landlord of the Bush, Inn St Georges in the 1960's.
Amongst other cinemas that he ran were also the Regal in Hadley, The Cosy, in Dawley and the Royal also in Dawley. Another cinema was the Plaza in Coalbrookdale.

Armed Forces / Royal Horse Artillery.
« on: Wednesday 04 July 12 15:51 BST (UK)  »
My wifes grandfather George Brown served in the Royal Horse Artillery and was a farm labourer prior to joining up
On leaving the RHA he became a publican in Bridgnorth before moving to the Bush hotel, Hadley Shropshire.
He and his wife Rose brought up seven children whilst at the Bush and Rose died in the Cottage hospital on the 29th March 1925.
I have lost track of George after his wife died and do not know when he left the Bush or whether he remarried or not. Hence I do not know when he died.
He was born on the 3rd September 1865 at Tiddiecross, Wrockwardine, Shropshire. His father John Brown was a farm labourer as was George.
I am posting a picture taken (I think) in Jamaica and George is in the centre of the threesome leaning out of the window with the moustache.
The Lance Corporal on the left is holding a pith helmet with the RHA badge attached.
Is it at all possible to find out any army details of George? I know this is a very long shot and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob Hanley.
