Hi everyone hope all are safe . Ok I think I could do with some help here, my 3 x great grandmother was flora adamson Clark born 18 sep 1837 ,died 8 apr 1906 In arbroath , I have her parents as Ann adamson born 1811 arbroath died 1883 , I have a marriage for Ann adamson and James Clark 17 July 1831 arbroath.... but I cannot find anything about this James clark on the 1841 census James is not mentioned, 1851 states she is a widow ,1861 she states a seamen's widow and for the life of me I'm truly stuck and I'm not a novice at this but I'm stumped anybody out there who could help solve thank you in advance ...marti

my second great grandmother was isabella brown keedie, who married robert williamson, i have her father as john keedie and mother isabella scott, all in fife  i have used all varitions on scots people aswell as 100 credits i belive john keedie is james keddie of knabbs farm on census would dearly like to know more on the keedie side but at am at wits end possibel john or james was born poss late 1700 on the banns for isabella and robert williamson no mention of parents if someome could please get me started i will be very happy thankyou

hi i hope someone can shed some light, i have been resesrching the kellies of dumbarton scotland, and am quite up toghther on this, however although my 3 times grandfather john kelly/ kellie born 1834 i now belive was meath i also belive his parents were james kelly and sarah hayes although i dont no for sure, is there anyway of findng this info out as i find ireland research difficult, also would like to know when he came to scotland, my english tree and scottish tree are fairly toghther  nad now have ireland to do but like i said its difficult

hi  i have found a bible today at my local bootfair in the front page someone has written a index of names, one of them is sarah ann egan born 1860 and died 1862 there are several other names john baune egan, there are some other surnames that must somehow link they are durrance and knight i have done some quick research and belive they are in the riding and halifax are. is anyone out there doing this branch

hi all i belive edward mcgraph was born in ireland moved to london and married belive he ended up as a police man but have been told today he could of gone to america a police man how can i find this out i no he married henrietta higgins but cant find anything on edward but new to this any help would be great

hi all looking for the marraige of daisy helm to a hyman benjamin in chelsea looking to find hyman benjamin side of family as im starting to break into to this side have been doing scottish side and a lot easier with scots people so if i could get a start with this then thankyou all very much and also what are the best sites for english family tree also the benjamins are jewish i belive so also info on how to search for jewish family lol thank you in advance

hi everyone just started out a new branch and am looking for any info on a james henry higgins born abt 1827 ireland on the 1881 census born ireland he was a policeman married to charlotte think madien name possibly devine again ireland but settled in chelsea area if anyone can help with anything at all this would be a great help thankyou

looking for a marriage entry(female) tarrant (male fibbens) first names unkown however female tarrants parents george arthur tarrant and williamina they were married 1918. williamina death cert shows informant as grandson micheal fibbens, but i can not find children of the tarrant for love nor money. so no dates or first names but all in portsmouth if anyone is swithched on enough to find something im missing then thankyou very much in advance

morning all i am going to edingburgh records center on thursday and although i have alot of research to do myself im sure i can manage a few look ups but its going to have to be a first come first served basis as i will be snowed under with my own but will try my best for anyone who is struggling.
