Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Please restore/Color my g.g.g Grandfather

Hello this is Edwin Bryant , my g.g.g grandfather. I recently found this photo along with many others (although this is the only known photo we have of him) , in an old family briefcase. I would very much apperciate if you could help restore and/or color it.
   Also if anyone has an idea of when the picture was taken, I'm all ears

after seeing the magic you worked on my last photo,I decided that I would post one my most treasured pictures of my fathers line.The people in the photo are My father(child to the right),aunt(child to the left),grandfather,great grandfather and my great great grandfather.

Just wondering if you guys could clean and color this photo, I would greatly appreciate it .

everyone in the photo(except my g.g grandfather all the way to the right) has dark brown hair, and everyone in the photo has blue eyes

Please prevent my Grandfather from fading away, I would like to surprise my Mother by showing her this photo restored with or without color,the picture was taken shortly after joining the army at age 17.
He had Brown eyes and Dark Brown hair

(edit, I changed the thread name because I think this is a little bit more than a clean up)
