Durham / John Henry Fincken & Maud E Smith m.1917

Hi,
I am trying to trace John H Fincken who married Maud E Smith in 1917 Hartlepool. I cant find any record of this birth. I am assuming he was born somewhere around 1897, but not necessarily in Hartlepool. I know some of the Finckens came from London in the late 1880's etc, so could be from St George in the East - London.

What I do know is that they had a son called John Henry who was born 1920 - he married Eveline Rutherford. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Stirlingshire / William Forsyth (b 23/04/1823) Marriage

I am trying to find the marriage of William Forsyth to Helen (I don't have the surname of Helen).

I have checked ScotlandPeople and can find 5 marriages which have a William Forsyth marrying a Helen between 1843 and 1847.

Both William and Helen were born around St Ninians. I believe Helen was born around 1827.

Of the 5 marriages on ScotlandPeople, I cant see any details which can narrow it down for me.

I do know William and Helen had a family consisting of Alexander (b 1847), Helen (b 1848), Margaret (b 1850), Jane (b 1852), William (b 1856) and George (b 1860).

Any pointers to help find which Helen is the correct one and which marriage is the probable marriage would be great.

Scotland / William Forsyth

As per a previous post, I am also looking for details of William Forsyth, son of Ezekiel b.1794.

I have William as born 1823 near Stirling. I know he was married and had approx. 7 children all born in Scotland (Alexander, Helen, Margaret, Jane, Janet?, William and George).

What I don't have are details of the marriage. I know his wife was probably called Helen, but I don't have a maiden name.

Any help would be great

Scotland / Help - Ezekiel Forsyth

I am looking for help tracing the parents of Ezekiel Forsyth born around 1794. He married Mary Kincaid, probably in Scotland as I believe they had 4 children born in the Stirling area (Sarah 1823, Thomas 1830, Ezekiel 1841, William 1823).

Any help would be great.

Durham / Thomas Smith - born in Stockton

Hi,
I am looking for any details relating to a Thomas Smith born 1883 in Stockton on Tees.

He married Alice Steel in 1900 in Hartlepool, but obviously with a name like Smith, having difficulties tracing his parents, siblings etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for details of a George Goodchild born around 1816, probably in Suffolk. He was married in 1841 in Hoxne to someone called Mary, but cant find his parents or the full name of his wife. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Looking for a Peter Forsyth born around 1888, not sure exactly where he was born. I know that by 1916 he was married to Lucy Farrar and living in Hartlepool, but no details exist that I have found. I have two possibilities at the moment, one born in Newcastle 1886 and another born Prescot 1889, so thought I would try and explore both.

Any information would be great.

Hi,
I have placed a previous posting for 1851 lookip relating to John Fincken. This has resulted in the finding of James Finnicane aged 38 born in Ireland. Would like to see if he is on the 1841 census or not. Any details would be great.
