My great grandparents were John Watkins (born 1856) and his wife Jane (born 1858) who farmed at Llanlugan until the time of Jane's death in 1890. In the 1911 census John was living at Tynyglyn Cottage, Llanfair. He died in 1921.
Their eldest daughter Catherine (born 1881) was my grandmother, and she had siblings Evan b. 1883,  John b. 1885, David b.1887 and Annie b. 1890.  I would love to have more information on this part of my family,  particularly how my grandmother, Catherine, came to live in the Whitchurch, Shropshire area.  I am also keen to find out if anyone knows where John and Jane are buried.

I am researching the France family who lived in the Whitchurch area. Thomas was born about 1815 and was a joiner. His daughter, Emma born 1837 married Ellis Lloyd from the Lower Wych/Iscoyd area - they were my great grandparents and I obtained their marriage certificate which gave me the information about Thomas being a joiner, but this is all I know about that part of my family. I use Ancestry for my research but have come to a standstill and I would be very grateful if anyone has any information or advice as to how I can find more details of them.

My g g g grandfather was born at Cliff Grange, nr Market Drayton  in 1794, but although we have driven around the area, we haven't been able to locate it. I think it may not exist now, but I'd love to know where it was and what's happened to it. If anyone could give me any information, i'd be very grateful. Thanks.
