My Heritage site shows Maren born 1743, died 9 June, buried 12 June 1801 in Havnbjerg, Sonderborg.  I cannot find this place in Sonderborg..  PS I do not read or write Danish even with the help to decipher it.
My Records indicate Jens was born in Norre Vissing Veng Scanderborg and they both died in Boes, Aarhus. Jens 29 May 1811,and Maren born 1745, died abt 16 Dec 1806 Could someone help verify their dates of death,  & where buried. Son Rasmus Sorensen was born in N.Vissing Veng 20 June 1809 . There were 2 other girls, Maren Jensdatter born abt 1776/77 and Kirsten Marie born 2 May 1784. Any chance of obtaining information on the  2 girls, when married, to whom, where did they live and their children.  This is alot to ask and my appreciation is grate if able to help me with this. Thank you. Janet- anker-pep52

Spades-Hello,I saw this Intention to marry index on a previous reply to someone else and input the date and place for the person I am interested in as above.  I have the marriage cert but wished to see what this indez said.
His name is Frederick George Hartley married to Eva Kempthorne.  I tried to access it several ways and still no luck.  Does one have to pay to look at it online?  Would it give any more information than the marriage certificate? Would love to hear from you -ankerpep_52 (Janet )

« on: Sunday 13 March 22 20:15 GMT (UK)  »
Andreas was born 16 March 1847-Edslev Mark Kolt Ning Aarhus Denmark-His parents were Anders Andreasen and Ane Jensdsatter.
Andreas married 1867 to Maren Jacobsen of Framlev Aarhus Dk.
How did his surname become Schmidt, rather than remaining as Andreasen or Andersen. All Andreas's children from then on kept the surname of Schmidt.
If the father Anders had other children, I am unaware of them, or if others, did they also change their surnames?   Can you help with this please? Ankerpep-52 (Janet)
