When I  open FTM 2006 I have a window with all old trees -over 20 - How do I delete them permanently. If I delete individuals from an All-In-One tree it doesn't delete the  tree which is still shown in the original window, albeit with only a few bytes.

South Africa / Death Certificates
« on: Thursday 27 September 12 07:10 BST (UK)  »
My ancestor died in Cradock Hospital in Eastern Cape in 1913. I tried unsuccessfully to obtain a Death Cert from Southport Records Office in the Uk.
I am sure there would have been a UK style overseas Death Cert issued in SA in its qcolonial role. Do these still exist, perhaps at a UK Consulate in SA, and if so are they available?

The Common Room / GRO Certificate ordering change

I noticed during a recent Marriage Cert order that Reference Checks were not shown. My order failed, but I received a full refund. Is this a new measure to save the GRO time?

Immigrants & Emigrants - General / Rhodesia - then where?
« on: Friday 08 July 11 21:19 BST (UK)  »
Charles Torrance COLEMAN emigrated from the UK about 1900 +/- to Umtali, now Mutare in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. He worked at a store, perhaps Meikle's, but I don't know where he went. He is not on the Death Records, so may well have moved elsewhere. Where should I look next. Are there WW1 records for Rhodesia? Suggestions welcome.
