Looking for anyone descended from this Couple.......

Alexander was born in Portree, Isle of Skye in 1863 and married Catherine Brown in Glasgow in 1884......I think they had 10 children in Glasgow, one of which, Hector McDonald moved to London.
Where did all the others go?
I have researched this McDonald Family for some time and would like to share what I have found.

Channel Islands Lookup Requests / PASCAL/PASCALL Births Guernsey AND Jersey
« on: Wednesday 30 November 11 13:11 GMT (UK)  »
Trying to find Births of children found in 1861 UK Census - St. Peter Port Guernsey.
The children are listed with Mother whose christian name is FROSEN?...wife of VICTOR DESPLANQUE, Stone Dresser.  He is born abt. 1835 France, she is born abt. 1834 Guernsey.
As first child listed is stated as step son, I am presuming Frosen was Mother of children.

I can't find a Marriage for this couple, nor Births for these children:

ARNNES? PASCAL (male)  born abt. 1854 Guernsey
FROSEN PASCAL (female) born abt. 1855 Guernsey
EDWARD PASCAL born abt. 1856 JERSEY
ROSE PASCAL born abt. 1857 Guernsey

On a Marriage Cert. EDWARD PASCAL states Father called PETER PASCAL, Farmer.
By 1871 Census Victor is stated as unmarried and in St. Heliers.  No sign of family.

Any help finding these Births would be wonderful.

Thank You.

Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, Sark / PASCAL/PASCALL Births Guernsey
« on: Wednesday 30 November 11 12:34 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to find the Births of a family which are found in 1861 Census.

ARNNES PASCAL  male, abt. 1854 Guernsey
Frosen PASCAL female abt. 1855 Guernsey
EDWARD PASCAL male abt. 1856 Jersey
ROSE PASCAL female abt. 1857 Guernsey

It seems their Mother was called FROSEN PASCAL or something similar and she is found in 1861 in St. Peter Port Guernsey as wife of VICTOR DESPLANQUE....he born France.  She born Guernsey.
In 1871 he is alone in St. Helier and stating unmarried.

It is possible the children were born to a PETER PASCAL, Farmer........but need someone to try and help me if possible.

With thanks,

Ireland / Richard Henry Clayton Wicklow/Dublin Help Please
« on: Wednesday 04 November 09 05:54 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for some Irish data anywhere in connection to a family found in 1861 in Salford Lancashire but of Ireland.

RICHARD HENRY CLAYTON aged 70 yrs., Labourer, widower, born Wicklow Ireland (1790 abt.)
Children:
MARGARET, ANN, JOHN, JAMES, ARTHUR then ELIZA dau. in law of DUBLIN
Grandchildren - Elizabeth 1850, Richard 1853, John 1859 all born DUBLIN.

I can't find any mention of any members of the family after 1861 in England and it seems they arrived just before 1861 census, as the youngest grandchild was born in Dublin in abt. 1859.........

The other name to try and find is a JUDITH CLAYTON born about 1790 IRELAND too who may be the sister to RICHARD HENRY above.

I would really appreciate any help in finding any of them anywhere else.

With thanks,
Barnsie
