Canada / William Waters b 1897

Help!!!! I am trying to trace info on my husbands great-uncle. William waters was b 13/02/1897 in Broxburn, Scotland. He emigrated to Canada, Austin to be exact, around 1920 I think. He was a barber to trade. He married twice, firstly to Mary Barr and when she died he married Allison Mair OR Muir of McGregor. They had two sons Philip and Richard. This info I managed to get from an obituary in the Brandon Daily Sun dated Aug 19 1957. It is a bad copy and most of the obituary is illegible. Also any info on his brother Peter Waters b 09/08/1891 who married Isabella Beveridge 16/07/1913 in Glasgow. He also emigrated to Austin where he was a postmaster. Don't know if they emigrated at the same time or not!

Hi folks, I am looking for info on Robinson Dowell b c 1900. All I know is that he married my Grandmother in 1920 in Armadale, West Lothian, Scotland and died 1925 in Blackridge, West Lothian, Scotland. They had a daughter Hannah. Please help me tie up this loose end!!!

Hi folks, I am looking for info on the aforementioned Elizabeth. Although Elizabeth was born in Scotland she spent most of her married life on the Isle of Man. She married George Combe (unsure of when). George was a lighthouse keeper and they had 6 children that I know of. The childrens names were Elizabeth, Grace, Agnes, Alex, George and Willie. Can anyone help please.

Hi Folks, The info that I require to complete a branch of my family tree is very recent but I have came to a complete standstill.  :( I know that Alistair Forsyth Paterson married Kathleen J. Francis in 1959. They had two boys (*). I have no info on the boys at all and I know that Alistair and Kathleen are both dead, Alistair approx.  yrs ago Kathleen approx. 10 yrs earlier. No info on deaths  either. Any help appreciated :)

Hi  folks, I am looking for info on McLaughlan family who lived in Hamilton, Ontario during mid 1920 to present. My grandmothers sister Elizabeth Paterson immigrated to Canada in 1929 and married a Francis (Frank) McLaughlan early 1930s, I think. Frank was born in Hamilton in Scotland. They have three sons Patrick, James and Michael.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as this particular link a a vital missing part of my tree :'(

Hi folks, can anyone help me as I seem to have hit a brick wall :'( I can't seem to get any further back than John Maxwell who married an Ann Crawford 23/09/1787. John was b 1762, Gorbals and Ann was b 1766 Govan. Any help greatly appreciated ::)

Hi, I am researching the Waters family who stayed in Uphall, West Lothian from 1880. Peter being the head of the family and his wife Isabelle who was origionally from Sligo , Ireland. Can anyone helpme please???
