Hello Maggie,
Just yesterday I reviewed the Drung Registers on microfilm ordered through the LDS. John Lang of Killeshandra was my 4G-grandfather, his wife being Abigail Leviston (Lang). She was the daughter of James & Abigail Leviston (my 5G-grandparents). John and Abigail Lang had a daughter Mary Lang. Mary married William Flannelly of Skreen Parish, County Sligo (in a Catholic ceremony) in March 1832. William & Mary were my 3G-grandparents who came to America during the Famine (in Nov 1846) with their 6 surviving children. I have just published a book titled "Past-Forward - A three-decade and three-thousand-mile journey home" which tells the story of my 30-year search for our Irish roots. Here is a link to the publisher's website if you would like to see more about the book: http://outskirtspress.com/pastforward/
I would be happy to exchange information with you. Send me your email address if you like.
Best regards,
Maureen
