Thank you to everyone who replied to my post, that was a great response!
I have very good information from Oliver's military record, it is on findmypast as well as Fold3.
Francis Storey is on my Ancestry Tree, I will make it private because I have no current proof. I have been trying to follow the common first names, but they often branch out to first and second cousins.
I intend doing more searches on findmypast this summer while the weather is too hot for anything else (Australia).
My Storeys were Masons, which is a bit of help, but so were lots of others.
Does anyone know how to find a link to 'Storeys of Old', I seem to have filed mine somewhere rather obscure.
I will follow up the Killashandra family, they must be connected.
I have yet to check the Parish registers, they are on RootsIreland.ie. For some reason I keep forgetting to look at the Dublin Registers, maybe because I have a hunch that the family were in the Ulster Plantation. There are many Storey/Noble marriages in the Border Reiver era, and later, but as you would expect, not a lot of detail,
