I am trying to find any info on the marage of
Homer Lacroix born in Quebec, and

Evelyn? Furlonger born in England.

They met and married in the 1940's and had two sons both born in Canada.

Albert Eugene Lacroix 1947
and John Lacroix.

The mother and boys return after Homer was Killed in the late 1940's

And info however small will be of help.

Thanks Bob & Little Nell for replies

I have checked out the Bristol History Site,
I agree, it's a fantastic site.
I also have tried images on Google  Bob, with no luck there.

The street I am looking for is
Glenburn Road (number 56 to be precise)
In the Kingswood area of Bristol

I believe it was the first house to be built in the road in 1918?
It was formally known as "Glenburn House " and owned by a William Venn.

So I guess I shall just have to keep plodding on, thanks once again to you both

Many thanks for the reply

It says on the deeds that William Venn owned the property from 1914 if my reading is correct.
But I am afraid there is quite a lot of jargon saying God know what Ha!
I wonder if you know a way to find out who owned the land that is was built on, any ideals ?

Hi
Thanks for the responce.
I am trying to connect him to an address 56 Glenburn Road or Glenburn House which is in the Two mile Hill area of Bristol.

Also thanks for the map info. I am trying really to find out who owned the land that his house was built on.  I have the deeds. But to be quite I can understand the lingo.
With respects
Lyn.s
