Thank you so much for the help. Rebecca sure looks like the motherand I hope more turns up. Craynor seems to be an uncommon name for the area so you'd think this would be easier.
The 1871 Census is new to me. I did have the 1891 census and some BMD info. Elizabeth Griffiths Craynor died in 1881. John remarried in 1882 to Isabella Newman Wilburn in Hunslet, Leeds as Frederick John Craynor. He is at Hunslet on the 1911 Census.
