Thank you very much japeflakes. I know that is not a good clear image but I got it from a FEPO website who have copied all the repatriation questioners filled in by the prisoners on their return to England.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Marriage lookup William Nickolls
« on: Friday 26 February 21 11:21 GMT (UK)  »
I have found a marriage in Q Mar 1850 registered in Marylebone vol 1 Pg 182 for William Nickolls and Mary Ann Smith.
At present I am unsure this is the William I am looking for. His occupation during his life was a Farmer/Butcher and came from Oxford. I would appreciate any help in solving this as there seems to be some other marriages coming up in the Oxford area and the details are not correct. His second marriage took place in Middlesex in 1878 to a Polly Elizabeth Smith.

I will eventually have to send for a Marriage Certificate if this is the correct couple

Thank you in advance

This photo is of Universal carriers at the Military sidings at Farnborough Hants railway station. The vehicles appear to have civilian registration plates. The one in the front was issued in 1952 to a Morris Oxford. Are these numbers specific to regiment or manufactures production.
