Hi Ann

William Parratt Son of Thomas and Margaret was my g g g grandfather.
I have seen the advertisment for Thomas Parratt Printer Bookbinder in the Cheshire Directories,
The address for the business was Hospital street Nantwich, year 1864.

Cheshire / Re: Parrott/Parratt Family of Spurstow. Help!!

Hi Nick

I'm thinking now that Elizabeth couldn't have been William Parratts wife as that would have put him only 11yrs .   This is really confusing as i am only trying to second guess using dates of births deaths and marriages from the parish records.

Regards
         Gainer :)

HI Nick

As you are aware i am also interested in the Parratt Parrott families of Nantwhich.

So far all i can come up with ,which i might add are only guesses,

                                                William & Mary parratt

                                                 children- William b1662---------hough
                                                                Mary    b-1664--------hough
                                                                Samuel b-1666-------hough
                                                                Elizabeth b-1669-----wyb

Do you know if this was Mary Kennerley,s 1st or a second marriage,as i am also guessing that this marriage is william parratts 2nd  his first wife being an Elizabeth, who died in 1682.
Mary parratt i think maybe williams mother died 1669 widow of William Parratt.

                                                                        Regards Chrissy :)

Hi  Nick
To be honest I have only really just started researching Parratt family.
Only as far back as 1841.

                                 Thomas & Margaret Parratt. Nantwich.

There does seem to be an awful lot of parratt/parrott/ ect to be sifting through it will keep me busy for years.
My Great - grandmother  Her maiden name was Parratt, and so started my interest in Parratt family history.
I do not have access to local libraries, so all i have to rely on and research on is the internet.

                              Kind Regards
                              Chrissy

hi
You could be right it does seem as though it is the same Thomas

It is the marriage of Ann and William which baffles me or maybe they never married.

                                                    kind regards
