Hi I was wondering if anyone who lives in Barnsley would know the descendents of these people or  would know some one in the area who would know the information.

Looking for the marriages and descendents of Harry Freeman(1873), Joseph Freeman (1880) Wilfred Freeman (1886) and Percy Camplin Afford (1895) who lived on Milton Street, in the 1901 census of Barnsley Wombwell Yorkshire.

Thanks Juanita

Would you check and see if Percy Camplin Afford is listed on your CD.  He was the son of
Jessie (Freeman) and Arthur Edward Afford.  He was born in 1894 in Barnsley.  In 1901
he lived in Wombwell with his maternal grandparents Joseph and Emma Freeman.  I hope
this enough information for you to make a search.

If don't have CD how would a person get this informaton

Hi Caroline:

Thank you very much for the information concerning the Freeman Afford family.  I think you have done a good job making the connection.  Yes Jessie Freeman Afford is his mother.  She was widowed from  Arthur Edward Afford and later married William Hargreaves and moved to Canada.  When she came to Canada she left her son Percy in her mother's care which you were so nice to confirm for me.  Jessie never saw her son again.  My hope is lto locate some of his family in  Wombwell if there is anyone left.  Thanks again for your kindness and generosity.
