Hello Jim G, and many many thanks for your help. I will try all the things you have mentioned although their is a picture of a grave yard called old Blaris graveyard Lisburn on line. It says it's on the Blaris Rd. But my great grandmother did attend church of Ireland Christ church cathedral so that is a possibility. Thanks again Wendy :)

hello Dee, lovely to hear back from you so quickly too. I am  :) afraid I don't know very much about the Hardy side of the family. All I can tell you is that your grandparents married on 4th Oct 1912 in St Brigid church Belfast. Your grandmothers full name on certificate is Mary Elizabeth hardy. I have not used this site much so not too sure how many messages we need till we can message private. may be we can give the next message a try. I have so many questions I would like to ask you ? Would be lovely to have a photo of your grandparents if you don't mind. Old photos are funny, my grandfather looks angry, but I think that was his serious face. Have a great day wendy

Would the GRO do a look up for me do you think ? I live in Australia. I have always been lucky to find the detail before sending for the certificate. But with this one I am not even sure of the year or the place. He is supposed to be buried in Carlingford, but I have had no luck in that area. So I am wondering if that is right. Thanks wendy
