Thank you all for your help, I am not very good at this, in reply to Osprey he would not have been on the 1841 census as he was in Swansea at this time, but only gave his birthplace as Carmarthen, it was only on the 1861 census that he gave his birthplace as Middleton Hall.  Would there be any Powells ie. Mother, Father or siblings on the 1841 census for  Llanarthney.  Thank you.

Where would I find information on the birth of Francis Powell 1806/9,  on the 1861 census for Swansea he gives his place of birth as Middleton Hall Carmarthen, occupation Gardner, how would I obtain records of his birth, and are there any records of the people who worked at Middleton Hall around the time of his birth,  obviously his mother must have been there at this time, and maybe his father.   Many thanks for your help.

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Help!! Essex marriage look-up please
« on: Saturday 24 March 07 18:37 GMT (UK)  »
My Grandfather Edward Inchbold Cooper married my Grandmother Hannah Stacia O Neill in 1912 at Thurrock Grays Essex, that's the easy bit, now my older relatives say that two Cooper brothers married two O Neill sisters, one couple being my grandparents.  They are certain the other brothers name is George, but I cannot find him on the 1891 or 1901 census with his brother Edward.  Relatives say they were the eldest brothers, Edward was born in 1885 in Tendering, their parents were married in Tendering in 1882, so he must have been born around that time.  I have checked the rest of the Cooper and O Neill children, but cannot find a connection, so if any-one can find the marriage of George Cooper to ??? O Neil, I would be truly, truly grateful.
