I don't know if they still do hay stacks in in Sweden but if they didI think every straw would be called Lundberg.

Thanks to you both.
I got enough posts done so I could send doughy a PM. Hopefully it may get to him/her.

Still not sure if a PM causes an email to be sent to the recipient. If not then I would doubt if doughy would get the PM as they have not been on line since 2007.

I wonder is there any was for a moderator to forward a message?

Cheers
John

London and Middlesex / Looking for info on William Lundberg
« on: Thursday 26 August 10 23:30 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I am looking for in formation on a William Lundberg who was christened in London in 1803 having been born on board ship. This is info I got from a post on Rootschat in 2005 by user called "doughy". Unfortunately doughy has not been on line since 2007 so I cannot ask him and the replies he got back in 2005 have not led me anywhere yet and I am new to Rootschat and to genealogy.

William later moved to Dublin and married twice here.
1st marriage was in 1828 to Claressa Dwyer
2nd marriage was in 1853 to Ellen Gordon nee Thorn. On this marriage cert his lists his father as John Lundberg and gives hi father's occupation as "mariner" so that would tie in with haviing been born on board ship.
William was a silversmith and seems to have traded between Dublin and Bristol around the 1840s

Cheers
John

Hi
I have found posts going back to 2005 from a rootschatter called "doughy". He was looking for information about my gggrandfather so I would be very interested in getting in touch with doughy. Unfortunately he has not been on line since 2007 so there is not much use posting a message to him.
Can anyone advise how I might find doughy his profile does not list any contact details. Some of the posts are on the following links
