Hi Peter

Thanks for your response!  I suspected that this may be Sarah's family but because of such a big gap between birth and christening I just wanted to make sure!  I found her in 1851 census visiting a Cook family in St Albans - George and Sarah.  She was listed as a visitor along with her children so assume this is a relative.  Could I be really cheeky and ask you to look for this family also in 1841 census it may help me put more tree together!

In 1851 they were in the parish of St Stephens - I'm having a problem reading road name it looks something like Sittenhanger Green ???

George b. 1795 Saundridge, herts AG Lab.
Sarah b. 1796 Ellenbrook
Emma b.1834 Beastney bonnet trimming weaver
Henry b.1836 Beastney

I'd like to eliminate the fact that she could possible be their daughter too!

Many thanks

Jo Jo

Hi

Thanks for your prompt response!  It looks like it could be them - I suspected they had other children but wasn't sure.  I'm not very up on the 1841 census - does it say where Sarah (wife) might have been born or the older children?

many thanks

Jo

Many thanks
