Australia / Stevenson family harland nr geelong after finding a old letter
« on: Wednesday 05 August 20 11:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi all
We have found a letter addressed to my great grandparents in the uk which starts with dear ma and pa . From doris Stevenson. And her husband Charlie?
The question is we cannot find a doris hamer the family name in our records. All we know is that she must be a family member as she address,s them as family members.
The address the letter was sent from is tahoma or takoma court
They must have had a least to boys. And the husband was off too camp in 1954. 300mls away.
Any help would be much appreciated

Phil

« on: Tuesday 06 March 12 16:14 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Emily Johnson Nee Pettit
parents William And Jane 1804 1809
Brothers William 1841 and Edward 1849
and Sisters Jane 1845 and Anne 1854

It Looks like William Married a Isabella Taylor (birmingham) in 1869 So Emily could be there offspring

As for Edward it looks like he was still living with his sister  Anne in 1881 in kent Single and (Job = Dustman) Anne (single) House Keeper
but it also shows an ellen Pettit (as Daughter)
After 1881 l cannot see them

Hope this Helps
