Hi Morven

Thanks for the information,

Do you have any links with North Ronaldsay or have all our relatives gone to places far and wide?

Have you been looking into the family links for long?

Thanks

David

Hi Morven

The information is interesting as my Great Grandmother (Jemima Thomson) had a son prior to marrying my Great Grandfather, I don't know if that is common knowledge in the family but I will check that out. I didn't have any knowledge of your fathers family so I will get that information in the tree, what was your Grandmothers name?

thanks

David

Hi

I have got some on Robert (1903), although I didn't know he remarried after Williamina, I have them having 7 Children, the ones missing on your information are

Elizabeth Mary born 1938, died the same year
Jessie Ann Duncan born 1940 no death date

I use the same sources and have just been to the records office in Glasgow this week to update some other information on my tree.

If you can fill me in on what information you have or need I'll do my best to let you know,

cheers

David

Hello there,

The information you have ties in with what I have, which one of Robert's children is your parent?

Margaret was my Great Great grandmother, my great grandfather was Margaret's son James, Margaret died in 1895.

cheers

Hi Brian

No there was no birthplace on the Certificate but I did a search for his birth in Scotland and there were no hits, he was in his 30's when he married in 1944 so I estimated that he was born around 1914, there is a medal record on Ancestry which has his birth in March 1914. There were no hits for his parents either in Scotland so I did a quick google search and the information said that the name Jensenius is more popular in Norway and Denmark which led me to Roots.

Thanks

Hi

Looking for some information on Christian Nielsen Thomsen who married Christina Connor McGruer in Glasgow on 26 Oct 1944, his parent's names Jensenius Thomsen and Anne Louise Jensen, it looks as though he was in the merchant navy but the marriage record says that he was on War Service.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks

Hi there

Looking for a little help with my family tree, my Great Great Great Grandfather Alexander Stevenson, no idea where he was born but his son, Hugh, was born in County Down in 1842, Married Maria 1870 in St Anne's church of Ireland in Belfast and had a large family, I have no idea who Hugh's mother is and if they originated in Scotland?

Any assistance will be appreciated,

thanks
