Glamorganshire / Elizabeth Evan 1796 Baptism Record Cadoxton, Glamorgan
« on: Sunday 15 January 23 21:43 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, On this baptism record after Elizabeth`s name it appears to say rep d of Griffith Evan Junior. His father Griffith is still having children at this point and I believe this Griffith never married until 1804. Could that rep mean reported daughter of Griffith instead of listing the mother? I have never seen that before. But would fit perfectly as there is another daughter Mary born in 1800 with the same rep after her name. And then several children after his marriage in 1804 with the rep and the Junior no longer there.
Any help most appreciated if anyone has come across this before.

No she died in Bristol in 2004. I no she was born in jersey her daughter`s birth cert states her mother was born in Jersey. This daughter was adopted out by Patricia and `i`m trying to trace her real family for her. I`ve found 2 half sisters who are proving difficult to track down. Looking for any any aunts or uncles but there don`t seem to be anywhere of getting jersey birth records.
