 My Grandfather was a member for years it belonged to Aberdeen Council, pretty certain it has been closed for years, the last time i saw a photo the Tennis Courts and putting green were all overgrown so assume the two Bowling greens would be the same.

 Yes Shaunj it was 28th October 1906,they found his birth Cert. So unless there is a error then not him. Although i would have thought with two William Mc Farlanes both in REME at the same time a third although possible ,might be unusual.

 Hi been asked by friend for help to look for her relation as she cant find anything about him. His name was William McFarlane he served in the R E M E. in WW2 and he lived in West Carron in Falkirk,can anyone give her a tip on where to look, thanks in advance.

Hi if you apply to join a site called Gordon Highlanders War Graves & War Memorials, there is a lady on there called Anne Park. Anne has gone around logging all the Gordon Highlanders buried in Aberdeen.She has data Base second to non on the Gordons . Once you are accepted just post and if Anne can help she will.
