My ancestor is Maria Penvose who is the oldest sister of John Penvose (your ancestor).

Both above are the children of John Penvose and Margaret Rowe.

Have you had any success in following their forefathers?

HI Chris..

Not sure if I am on the right track as I am looking for the forefathers of John PENVOSE (born 1796 in St Agnes).  As you stated St Clements and Penrose, I could be looking in the wrong spot!!

John Penvose married Margaret Rowe, they had 11 children one of which was Maria Penvose who married Thomas Truscott.

The inscription of Thomas Truscott's bible states that they are from crift cottage in Penvose, Corwall.  Their son John Henry Truscott moved to Tasmania, Australia and hence eventually me ( a Truscott)..

Any help would be appreciated xx

Greetings all...  I am searching for teh forefathers of John Penvose (born circa 1796 at St Agnes, Cornwall).  He married Margaret Rowe, they had 11 children one of which was Maria Penvose who married Thomas Truscott - their son John Henry Truscott moved to Tasmania and started the line of family that I am descended from.

I would like to find out who came before and where the family goes back to..

Am a real newbie and not sure where to start and where to head..

Any help greatly appreciated.
