Wow!
Thank you very much for your amazing work to both Charles W and mahalia.
To me it almost seems impossible to achieve such results.
I can't wait to get them printed out later this week.
Very many thanks once again CharlesW and mahalia

Please can anyone tell me anything about this photo.
It was discovered recently in a batch of photo's that my mother had saved.
I was hoping it might have been of my father but i cannot make him out at all.
His unit in WWII was The 157th Rly Con Coy.
Many thanks for looking, I might try and post it for setoration also if that is allowed.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Photo for restoration please
« on: Thursday 12 July 12 12:55 BST (UK)  »
Would it be possible for anyone to restore this old photo please?
It hasn't had the best of care as can be seen :|
It was a polaroid snap from 30-40 years ago, trapped in a house fire and subsequently soaked in the rescue.
Many thanks for being here.
Best regards

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Re: Who?
« on: Wednesday 14 March 12 21:34 GMT (UK)  »
WOW!
You guys & gals are absolutely A-MAZ-ING :)
Fantastic work by all concerned and what a result
The picture that my brother has is well framed and from memory, looks like a water colour as it is quite pale and softly coloured, almost in pastle shades
Is there any chance that this picture was a product of early mass production and the responible party/ies altered the signature to avoid any legal issues?
Just a thought :]
Finaly, for now, does anyone know the value of the one that my brother has?
I'm cetain that it's totally irrelevant as it sits nicely on his hallway wall and is a very nice piece to look at
Many, many thanks to you ALL on this one for your first class detective work
Very best regards

Thanks PrueM
You're worserer than me (I'm a glass still hanging up behind the bar sorta guy :)
Even so I still think we're in with a shot of somebody recognising our wing collared anonimous chappy as I do belive that anyone prepared to pay to have his portrait painted must at least have believed HE was worth painting.
Ta again
