I was interested to read your recent message concerning a Gabriel Rose in your family line.
I am not sure that my family line connects with yours but to fill you in as follows.
My grandfather was Henry Rose born in Ramsey Hunts in 1850 He married my grandmother Fanny Williams in Cannock Staffs in 1879.
Henrys parents were John Rose and Ann Ellington. John born in 1812 married in Bury Hunts. church in 1838 and he died 1881.
Johns parents were William Rose and Sarah. He was born in 1782 and died in 1838 app.
Williams parents were John Rose and Elizabeth Green. John born 1739 app and died 22 Jun 1807
Williams parents were Gabriel Rose and Hannah Gill. Gabriel born app 1687 and died 18 Jul 1770.
Gabriel married three times
First to Ann Ellington
Second Hannah Gill (my line)
Third Mary Goodwin.
My Rose line has the names of Gabriel, John and Henry repeating often during the generations and seem to have been gardeners, Agricultural labourers all in the vicinity of Ramsey in Huntingdonshire
