My husband's grandmother was Catherine Pederson and  his mum was Ines Anne Pederson (Peterson). Ines had a sister also Pederson and step sisters and brothers with the surname of Mattson.  My husband didn't realise his grandmother had siblings. He had heard about Chauntry House but not the other addresses in Castle St. he will now try looking at the BDM for his grandmother's siblings. Apologies everyone, I seemed to have got some of my facts wrong. It's Catherine who I need the information on. Thanks to Mabel with the latest info. This seems to follow the data I have from the records my husband's mum told him. I will try and put more information required / looking for tomorrow. Thanks to you all this has been every informative.

Cathy, on the 1771 census does it give Evan’s profession?

Trying to find information for my husband on both of his great, great grandparents and the property they lived at in Beaumaris. He is made to believe his Great, great grandfather, on his mother's side was a Captain in the navy. Their daughter, Catherine, his mum's mum married,  he thinks in Liverpool  and her married name was Mattson before she remarried an Axel Pederson  from Finland. In relation to the property, Chauntry House is on the sea front of Beaumaris, just off Castle Street / rd. Any information from the Anglesey census for 1871 to 1881 would be very helpful.
