Could not get in until I changed password (reluctantly) - for some time could not get promised e.mail notifying change.

Ancestry covers only to 1966 - the Government site comes practically up to date.

I think that the plot that you refer to was bounded by the Uxbridge Road and Brockley Hill, in about 1948 these buildings were refurbished, rebuilt and extended as necessary and occupied by various government departments. I think that the site is now occupied by the D.V.L.A.

Hello Sue,

The info you have on the marriage of John Farrow and Jane Smith (12th April 1792) is correct - I must assume that my 'Farrows' come further down the tree.

Hello Suebrew,

I am having difficulties on locating the Farrows/Smiths that you detail, my Farrows start with William (born about 1768) he married a Margaret Smith in about 1800 - do these have a place in your tree?

Hello Downside,
Apologies for the delay in coming back to you and thank you for you advices, following upon your hint that FTM had lost a file name extension the programme has been reloaded and the problem appears to be solved.
Renewed thanks for your help.

Dear Downside,

Thank you for your prompt response
I do mean Family Tree Maker, in trying to load a JPEG picture into scrapbook I get the message 'The file you have selected is not a supported type' After saving, as say a BMP file, the programme accepts it.
